Overview

The eSUB Sage 300 Connector performs the following functions:

- Import project costs to-date (From the Sage 300 project) to eSUB Cost to Complete report
- Import cost codes (From the Sage 300 project) to the eSUB Display/Hide cost codes page
- Import project cost estimates (From the Sage 300 project) to eSUB Add Job Cost Estimates page
**Note:**Records cannot be pushed from eSUB to the Sage 300 (Sage Timberline) system

Link eSUB project to Sage 300 project

The Sage 300 project list in eSUB syncs once every 24 hours. Once the eSUB and Sage 300 projects are linked, Estimate and Cost Code assignment syncing should occur within two minutes.

A user level of Project Manager or higher is required.

- Go to
**Navigate**>**Add Project** - Fill in the required (red) fields as desired
- In the
**Link Sage 300 Project**field, select the desired Sage 300 project - Select
**Save Data**when finished

*From the Select Project page:*

- Select the
**Edit**(pencil) icon on the project - In the
**Link Sage 300 Project**field, select the desired Sage 300 project - Select
**Save Data**when finished

Once the eSUB and Sage 300 projects are linked, syncing should occur automatically within two minutes.

- Once linked, the connector will compare the Sage 300 cost codes to the eSUB cost codes (code, description, and cost type) and add (create) any cost codes necessary for the eSUB project.
- Cost codes are displayed on the eSUB project based on the job cost estimates for the linked Sage 300 project.

A user level of Project Manager or higher is required.

- Go to
**Project**>**Configure** - Select
**Display/Hide Cost Codes**

Once the eSUB and Sage 300 projects are linked, syncing should occur automatically within two minutes.

- Once linked, the connector will compare the Sage 300 cost codes to the eSUB cost codes (code, description, and cost type(s)) and add (create) any cost codes necessary for the eSUB project.
- Cost codes are displayed on the eSUB project based on the job cost estimates for the linked Sage 300 project.

A user level of Project Manager or higher is required.

*Select the project, then: *

- Go to
**Project**>**Configure** - Select
**Add Job Cost Estimates** - (
*Optional*) Select**Update Estimates from Sage 300**to manually update job cost estimates

Once the eSUB and Sage 300 projects are linked, syncing should occur automatically within two minutes.

The Cost to Complete report will update automatically once every 24 hours.

**View project costs to-date in eSUB (Cost to Complete report)**

A user level of Project Manager or higher is required.

*Select the project, then: *

- Go to
**Reports**>**Cost to Complete** - (
*Optional*) Select either**eSUB**or**Sage 300**from the Source field to alternate the data source
