When the eSUB Administrator adds new users to the account, they will enter an initial password for the user following the password requirements. The display of the password is masked for security purposes.
eSUB Password requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 number
As a best practice, before the user logs into eSUB, they must reset their password. In order to reset their password, they will need to click the “Forgot your password?” button on the eSUB login screen.
The user will then be directed to enter their email address to begin the process to reset their password.
eSUB sends you an email with reset password instructions to the email address provided. The Reset Password link in the email expires in 24 hours. If the user misses the window to reset the password, they will need to request another password reset email. Upon receipt of the email, the user will be directed the reset password screen.
Once the password has been reset, the display of the password is masked for security purposes in the User Log. Company admins cannot see user passwords and the password reset page must be used if the user forgets their password.
