Depending on the type of data and level of detail you need, you may be able to bulk download information into an Excel spreadsheet or download documents on an individual basis. Below are the steps to download data from eSUB via Corporate Management and within individual projects.

Field Notes
You must download each Field Note individually. The easiest way to accomplish this is within Corporate Management.
- Go to Start > Corporate Management
- Click the magnifying glass icon next to the Field Note > right click > Print > set Save As PDF as the destination > Save
Daily Reports (DR)
DRs can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The easiest way to accomplish this is within Corporate Management.
- Go to Start > Corporate Management > Construction Docs > Daily Reports
- From here you can export all your DRs into a single Excel document. This is a high-level log that shows Project, DR Number, Date, From, Total Workers, Total Hours Lost, Total Hours, Hours Lost, Notes/Comments.
- Enter your criteria (all projects, open projects, completed projects, etc.) and a date range, then click SEARCH
- Click the Excel icon to export your Daily Report data
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each DR individually. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the DR > select the information needed on the DR > click Select > right click > Print > set Save As PDF as the destination > Save
Request For Information (RFIs)
RFIs can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the RFI log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Construction Docs > Requests for Information
- Enter your criteria (RFI Number/Subject, Status, etc.) then click SEARCH
- Click the Excel icon to export your RFI log (follow the same steps to export the GC RFI Log)
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each RFI individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Submittals
Submittals can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Submittal log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Construction Docs > Submittal
- Enter your criteria (Sub Number, Trans Number, Status, etc.) then click SEARCH
- Click the Excel icon to export your Submittal log (follow the same steps to export the Submittal Item Log)
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each Submittal individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Meeting Minutes (MM)
MM can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the MM log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Construction Docs > Meeting Minutes
- Click the Excel icon to export your MM log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each MM individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Equipment Rental
The Equipment Rental log can be exported into a high-level report OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Equipment Rental log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Construction Docs > Equipment Rental
- Click the Excel icon to export your Equipment Rental log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each record individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Correspondence Log
The Correspondence log can be exported into a high-level report OR correspondence can be individually downloaded. The only way to export the Correspondence Log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Construction Docs > Correspondence Log
- Click the Excel icon to export your Correspondence log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each correspondence individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Drawing Sets
Drawing Sets can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Drawing Sets log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Construction Docs > Drawing Sets
- Enter your criteria (Drawing Set Prefix, Sheet Number, Status, etc.) then click SEARCH
- Click the Excel icon to export your Drawing Sets log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each drawing individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Change Order Requests (CORs)
CORs can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The easiest way to accomplish this is within Corporate Management.
- Go to Start > Corporate Management > Job Cost Docs > Change Order Requests
- Enter your criteria (COR No, Status, etc.) then click SEARCH
- Click the Excel icon to export your COR log data
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each COR individually. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the COR > right click > Print > set Save As PDF as the destination > Save
Purchase Orders (PO)
POs can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The easiest way to accomplish this is within Corporate Management.
- Click Start > Corporate Management > Job Cost Docs > Purchase Orders
- Click Export Purchase Orders in the upper right gray bar
- Enter your criteria (Start/End Date, Project(s), Status) and click Export
- Click the check box next to each PO to be exported (all are selected by default) click on the Generate PO Export File button
- Your log should automatically download, but you can also download the log by clicking the magnifying glass next to the export to force a download
- NOTE: If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each PO individually. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the PO > right click > Print > set Save As PDF as the destination > Save
Subcontracts
Subcontracts can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Subcontracts log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Job Cost Docs > Subcontracts
- Click the Excel icon to export your Subcontract log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each subcontract individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Subcontractor Change Orders
Subcontractor Change Orders can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Subcontractor Change Order log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Job Cost Docs > Subcontractor Change Orders
- Click the Excel icon to export your Subcontract log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each subcontractor change orders individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Pay Apps
Pay Apps can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Pay Apps log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Job Cost Docs > Pay Applications
- Click the Excel icon to export your Pay Application log
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each Pay App individually. Click the Adobe icon > select attachments > Download PDF File
Files
eSUB offers file storage at the company and project-level. Each file must be downloaded individually.
- Project Files
- Click into your project > Files > Project Files
- Click the download icon next to each file to be downloaded
- Company Files
- Click Start > Corporate Management > Files
- Click the download icon next to each file to be downloaded
Contacts
A master list of all contacts can be exported from Corporate Management
- Go to Start > Corporate Management > Corporate > Contacts
- Update the Status to “Active Contacts (All Projects)” or “Inactive Contacts (All Projects)”
- Click the Excel icon to export your contacts list
Project Inbox
Email records can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Project Inbox is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Project > Project Inbox
- Click the Excel icon to export your Project Inbox
- If you need more in-depth information you will need to download each email individually. Click the magnifying glass icon next to an email > right click > Print > set Save As PDF as the destination > Save
Issues
Issues can be exported into a high-level log OR individually downloaded. The only way to export the Issues log is within each individual project.
- Click into your project > Project > Issues
- Click the Excel icon to export your Issues log
Milestones
Project Milestones can be exported via Corporate Management.
- Click Start > Corporate Management > Corporate > Milestones
- Click the Excel icon to export a master list of all milestones across all projects
Timecard Management
A master report for all timecards can be downloaded into a detailed log.
- Click Start > Timecard Management
- Click Reports > Hours Breakdown – Excel
- Enter your date range and choose “All Projects”
- Check the box if you want to "Include Unapproved Time”
- Click Spreadsheet
Resource Management
This is a scheduling tool for employees and equipment. Resource Management reporting captures all projects/employees/equipment and allows you to export into a PDF format.
- Click Start > Resource Management
- Click both drop-down menus on the top and select all employees, equipment, and projects needed on the report
- Click the PDF button
- Enter start/end time
- Click Download
Scheduling
Project schedules can be downloaded into a PDF file via the Scheduling module.
- Click Start > Scheduling
- Choose your project from the drop-down in the upper-right
- Choose your view (Month, Day, Hour) then click PDF
- Enter start/end date
- Click Export
Note: the more information captured, the smaller the text appears on the PDF
Reports
eSUB offers reporting at the corporate and project-level. Because they are designed to be used within eSUB, not all can be downloaded and may require screenshots.
Corporate Reports
- Corporate Cost Summary - master list of all projects and budgets/actuals
- Click Start > Corporate Management > Corporate > Corporate Cost Summary
- Enter your criteria (Status, Market Area, etc.) > click the Excel icon
- Corporate Overview - high-level view of open/complete projects and project documents
- Click Start > Corporate Management > Corporate > Corporate Overview
- Take a screenshot of the page or copy/paste the chart into Excel
- Corporate Summary - high-level overview of document usage/status across all projects
- Click Start > Corporate Management > Corporate > Corporate Summary
- Choose a status from the drop-down (All Projects, Open Projects, specific project, etc.) and click SEARCH FOR
- Once the page is loaded take a screenshot of the page or copy/paste the chart into Excel
Project Reports
- Labor Productivity - compares original budget vs. actuals and shows labor efficiency
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Labor Productivity
- This is a high-level view, but you can continue to drill into each system/phase/cost code for the project to see more detail
- Upon finding the information needed, take a screenshot of the page, or copy/paste the chart into Excel
- Labor Unit Productivity - tracks estimates vs. actuals and units installed
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Labor Unit Productivity
- Enter your criteria (System/Phase, Cost Code, Date Range, etc.) > choose your unit tracking view > choose either cost code or labor class view > Query Data
- Click the Export to Excel icon in the upper right
- Labor Summary - high-level view of labor hours per system, phase, cost code, month, etc.
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Labor Summary
- Take a screenshot of the page, or copy/paste the chart into Excel
- Hours Lost Summary - high-level view of hours lost due to issues/delays
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Hours Lost Summary
- Enter start/end date
- Click Query Data and then click Spreadsheet
- Budgeted Hours - compares as-planned vs. actual hours broken down by cost code
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Budgeted Hours
- Take a screenshot of the page, or copy/paste the chart into Excel
- Cost Details - detailed breakdown of project budget vs. actuals broken down by cost code
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Cost Details
- Enter your criteria (System/Phase, Cost Code, Cost Type) and click Search
IMPORTANT: To update the Actuals column with your committed costs, click the “Copy from Committed” button. This must be done before updating the Cost to Complete Report
- Click the Excel button
- Cost To Complete - measures profitability by tracking variance from budget
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Cost to Complete
IMPORTANT: if you just updated your actuals in the Cost Details report, you must click “Copy from Cost Details” in the Actual Costs Through column and click Calculate & Save
IMPORTANT: Do NOT copy projected additional costs unless you have manually filled out this out in Cost Details.
- Click Export to Excel
- Change Order Status - high-level overview of COR statuses within the project
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Change Order Status
- Choose status (all/pending/approved) and click Filter By
- Click Print > right click> Print > set Save As PDF as the destination > Save
- Material Item Summary - overview of materials ordered via Purchase Orders
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Material Item Summary
- Choose criteria from the Purchase Order Status, Item Number, and Balance drop-down menus
- Take a screenshot of the page, or copy/paste the chart into Excel
- Equipment Log - summary of equipment tracked via Daily Reports
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Equipment Log > Excel
- Equipment Usage Summary - overview of total hours used on equipment for the project
- Click into your project > Reports and Graphs > Equipment Usage Summary
- Enter start/end date
- Click Query Data and then take a screenshot of the page, or copy/paste the chart into Excel
- Graphs - All Graphs within eSUB are graphics-based and non-exportable. eSUB recommends taking screenshots of the following graphs if they are needed:
- Budgeted Hours By Cost Code
- Budgeted Hours By Week
- Labor Hours By Cost Code
- Labor Hours By Month
- Labor Hours By Work Type
- Labor Hours By Labor Class
