Attach To Issue

Attach files to a eSUB Issue for the current Project. Existing attachments are listed in a log at the bottom of the page.

Issue No

Displays the number and description of the Issue.

How to Attach

1. From the DR Log, select the Attach icon  next to the Issue you’d like to attach a file to.     

2. Select "Select Files" or "Select Notes" 

3. Add your files, enter an optional Description, select Finalize Uploads

Note: From the Issue Edit screen, you can also select the Attach to Issue tab to attach a file.

My Computer

Drag files from your computer to be attached, or select “Choose File” to select the files to be attached.

Dropbox

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “Dropbox” from the left

3. Select “Connect to Dropbox”

4. Sign in with your Dropbox credentials

5. Return to the eSUB page

6. Select “Allow” to gain access to your files within eSUB

7. Select the files you’d like to attach

8. Select “Upload”

9. Enter an optional “Description”

10. Select “Finalize Uploads”

Google Drive

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “Google Drive” from the left

3. Select “Connect to Google Drive”

4. Sign in with your Google credentials

5. Select “Accept” to gain access to your files within eSUB

6. Select the files you’d like to attach

7. Select “Upload”

8. Enter an optional “Description”

9. Select “Finalize Uploads”

Box

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “Box” from the left

3. Select “Connect to Box”

4. Sign in with your box credentials

5. Select “Accept” to gain access to your files within eSUB

6. Select the files you’d like to attach

7. Select “Upload”

8. Enter an optional “Description”

9. Select “Finalize Uploads”

FTP

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “FTP” from the left

3. Sign in with your FTP credentials

4. Select the files you’d like to attach

5. Select “Upload”

6. Enter an optional “Description”

7. Select “Finalize Uploads”

Link (URL)

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “Link (URL)” from the left

3. Enter the URL of the file

4. Select “Upload”

5. Enter an option “Description”

6. Select “Finalize Uploads”

Take Picture

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “Take Picture” from the left

3. Aim your device and take picture

4. Select “Upload”

5. Enter an option “Description”

6. Select “Finalize Uploads”

Web Images

1. Select “Select Files”

2. Select “Web Images” from the left

3. Type in keywords to search for an image

4. Select “Search”

5. Select the files you’d like to upload

6. Select “Upload”

7. Enter an option “Description”

8. Select “Finalize Uploads”

Edit

To change the attachment description, select the Edit icon .

Delete

To delete the attachment from the Issue, select the Delete icon .

View

To view the attachment, select the View icon  or select the thumbnail picture.

Download

To download the attachment to your computer, select Download icon .

Notes

You may attach any electronic file with the following exceptions:  executable files (file extension ".exe") and web files (extensions ".htm", ".html", ".asp".)
